Endangered SpeciesRR provides the link between the regulatory community, the natural community, and your project.
Restoration Resources works with clients to ensure that unavoidable impacts to critical habitats for federal or state-listed threatened, endangered, or special status species are mitigated appropriately and fully. Our biologists and restoration ecologists are extremely knowledgeable in the needs of the regulatory community and the needs of the protected species. We develop appropriate conservation strategies that meet or exceed resource agency guidelines and also look for opportunities to enhance habitat values for as many native species as are feasible for any given site. Our plans incorporate agency concerns and our client’s financial concerns into an ecologically defensible project that, when implemented, results in a net benefit to the special status species. We have designed and created habitat for fairy shrimp, tadpole shrimp, valley elderberry longhorn beetle, giant garter snake, Swainson’s hawk, burrowing owl, delta smelt, Chinook salmon, and a number of rare and listed plants and grasses. We understand the value of every member of our community and we help our clients meet the demands of their projects while helping to perpetuate animal and plant species that are struggling for survival.
